Sunshine Blog Award

I have received the Sunshine Blog Award from Adeline of Dancing in the Storm.  Just in time for Spring in South Africa!
Adeline is certainly a ray of sunshine to the ladies she helps get off the streets and bring the Word of God to! I enjoy reading about her adventures in this, as well as her dog Mayah’s daily mischievous adventures!

The Questions:

Favourite colour? Pink and sea green! 

Favourite animal? My favourite animal is animal! I adoooooooorre animals!

Favourite number? 5 – I think it’s because I’m super bad at Math so 5 is the easiest in addition, subtraction etc. hah!

Favourite non-alcoholic drink? Peanut Butter Milkshake and coffee. And anything chocolately.

Favourite alcoholic drink? I don’t drink at all anymore. Not because I’m trying to be a goody two shoes, but I just never liked the taste one bit. Just vile. Even wine is gross.

Facebook or Twitter? I can’t stand Twitter, still don’t know how to use it, that’s why my account is so silent. I have also grown bored of Facebook and tend to only go on if I have an abandoned animal to network 

My Passions? Jesus, my daughter, baking, traveling, animals, reading and learning

Giving or Receiving Gifts? Both!

I have been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by the lovely Marty of Walking in Faith.
It is such an honour because I thoroughly enjoy Marty’s blog, the honest way she writes and her humble obedience to the Lord is inspiring! I am glad to have made a wonderful new friend in Christ!

The 7 things:
1. I have trypophobia, blugh, which I am prayerfully working through. Just typing the name gives me the creeps
2. I wanted to be a lawyer since I was 6, got into Law school and changed my mind on the last minute. Dumb!
3. I am a terrible introvert. I am most comfortable around people who make me laugh. For an accurate description of me, read this. #11 takes the cake *in stitches*
4. I never close the kitchen cupboards when I’m done, to the irritation of my husband
5. I’m a real Plain Jane. I don’t buy brands, I love being barefoot and don’t even know how to apply makeup properly!
6. I am a chocolate aficionada. I love it. I love it so much I will not share 😉
7. I am one of the few people that have absolutely no interest going into space. It’s a creation wonder, but that infinite blackness I find horrifying.

I have been nominated for a WordPress Family blog award by the lovely Elizabeth of His eye is on this sparrow blog. Her blog is all about hope and she shares great insight on everyday circumstances by linking it back to God and His work in our lives.

I certainly do feel part of a family among all the Christian blogs I follow and who follow me. It’s almost the technological and modern way of fellowshipping! (laugh)
