I have been quiet for the past two weeks as things have been very depressing in my country lately. I don’t like to speak of the negative things surrounding ones country, but this is so bad that I’m petrified and wondering when my morning is coming (Ps 30:5)
It’s no secret that crime in South Africa is pretty horrendous. As of late it has stepped up a notch. There’s this guy with a Grade 4 education who makes it blatantly obvious how much he hates white people and openly expresses how he will “wipe us out”. In 2010, a whole lot of churches across the country fasted for 40 days against ungodly rulers and for the country. This guy, called Julius Malema, was eventually caught out by the revenue service regarding all the corruption he was involved in and he lost everything. But now he is rising like an evil phoenix from the ashes, has started his own political party and his number one aim is “wiping out” all the white people in SA. This is NOT how all South Africans are –this is just one hate crime group.
Slaughtering a cow to give honour to their demon god ‘ancestors’
Black on white violence is increasing at an alarming pace and I blame him. This has taken place in the past three weeks alone:

- 3 toddlers raped and murdered
- The people 3 houses away from me went away for the weekend and an old man was looking after the house for them. Burglars got in and tortured him the entire weekend while stealing goods.
- Burglars broke into a farm in Johannesburg, gang raped the mother while standing on her face, and gang raped her two daughters while forcing the 12 year old son to watch. Then murdered them. They then drowned the boy in boiling water and disemboweled the family dog for barking. After being sentenced they laughed and said, “this was just the beginning”.
- Burglars broke into an elderly woman’s home, and threw her into boiling water while robbing her of her goods.
- My brother’s female friend was home alone, they broke in, tied her up and beat her up. Thank the Lord they never raped her because they always do!
That is in Johannesburg alone!
I’ve been left in a state of paralyzing fear. Yes, I’m a child of God, I don’t have a spirit of fear. But I am scared! It is making me depressed. Do you know why I’m scared? This is how the crime started in Zimbabwe. In addition, about 12 years ago I had this vivid dream. It was so vivid that it felt like I was almost awake. I dreamt that the government had all the white people lined up. We were on our knees with our hands behind our backs waiting to be shot execution style. I felt the barrel of a gun on the back of my head and I woke up. What they are wearing in the pictures above is what they were wearing in my dream, but in black.
I’ve done spiritual warfare in our street and neighbourhood and anointed the house. I’ve been trying to stay in the Word and pray, but having this impending doom over my head is a life of horror, a bad dream. I am praying for the Lord’s will on emigration. I am currently calling a fast with my South African Christian brothers and sisters for the end of the month. Please too, include us in your prayers? Please remember me.
The country just wants to live in peace with each other, especially after the wrongs of apartheid, but when evil like this rears its ugly head then one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.

I am stunned… You will be in my prayers and on my mind every day. America is also seeing a surge of black-on-white violence. It is mind boggling and pure evil… meant to terrorize. WND (World News Daily) posts the stories to make us aware, but they are generally not reported due to ‘racial’ discrimination. It’s absolutely out of control. Just remember… “These things must happen.” FEAR NOT… Yes, I know, it’s easy for me to say. You will STAY in my prayers from this moment on!

I don’t see this as discriminatory at all. Evil doesn’t have a color. All races are guilty! I fully believe what we are beginning to see now is the Biblical “nation against nation – ethnic against ethnic”. ALL of the signs of the Lord’s return are shining brightly as neon signs in a dark place. …and, it is in terrifying awe that we witness the preciseness of end-time prophecy.
Its sad as we’ve come SO far as a country after wicked apartheid. But maybe if I was a victim of it I’d also be bitter. Terrifying awe is the perfect way to describe it! (Can’t we just all get along? Sigh..)

We here in America are really so much in denial about the lack of freedom elsewhere in the world. We need to wake up because while the 5th great awakening is underway in places like Africa and Iran, and all these other places here in America and Europe where we are so free we are not seeing the freedom anymore. We need to repent for all that we have taken for granted. I will be praying as I do already for S Africa (I have 2 friends that are missionaries to S.A. and I lift them both up daily so I will add you to my daily list. Gods peace and protection on you.

If you haven’t done so, memorize Psalm 91. It is one of the most versatile and helpful chapters in the Bible when times are desperate. As you memorize it, you will be meditating on it as well, and the things the Lord will reveal to you will strengthen and encourage you.
Here’s an example: The first verse says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide UNDER the shadow of the Almighty.” He doesn’t leave us standing next to Him where someone can stomp on us – oh no – we’re UNDER Him…like baby chicks, safe and secure.
I had no idea that things were that ugly there. I will surely be holding you up in prayer.

Dear sister I am so troubled to read all of this yet I knew it was only a matter of time till it appeared on my doorstep or someone close to me. Listening to Steve Quayle on a talk show last month he said the veils are no longer thinning between the dimensions of evil and us…they are now rent! Demons are flowing into our world on an unprecedented rate and the number of true Christians involved in spiritual warfare are very few.
The Father had me walk the perimeter of the neighborhood I live in with blessed salt (blessed with the Blood of Jesus to repel and remove ALL demonic forces) in my pocket and while walking I gave the entire territory back to the Father, I put all demons on notice that the Father was taking HIS land back and every so often I dropped some salt. Within about a two week period the witch (literally a Wiccan) that lived three doors down moved and the lesbian kids behind me along with their druggie friends have also moved! Its amazing to watch the Father work and this might help your area…BUT PLEASE be careful doing this if you decide to maybe you could go with a friend or your hubby.
Also pray Psalm 91…known as the protection Psalm! I have that written out in scroll form and above every door that leads to out side. Take communion everyday too! If you email me at inhimiam@reborn.com, thats an old email I no longer use but I can get your email from it, then I will send you some other info I have on what communion does and other warfare info if you would like.

I left my heart in America, but no, its incredibly hard to get in. I’m thinking London because I’m able to get a European passport that will allow me to live and work there. Basically anywhere that’s off this continent
May I offer a bit of advice? If I were you I would pray on this and see where God wants you to move…because that is where your safety and provision lies as well. It just seems to me that moving to a city in these last days may not be the very best idea, but God will know where to bring you and fill all your needs as well:) It just breaks my heart that such an amazingly wonderous place as Africa is so full trouble, but everywhere is to one degree or another right now and things will be getting worse and worse as we get closer to the coming of Jesus. Follow what Father tells you to do and all will be well with you always:) Love you dear sister!
You’re right Sharon. He knows I’ve been wanting to emigrate for the past decade and I’ve been asking His will for it lately. If He requires me to stay put, nothing I can do, and if He wants me to get out I know He will open doors. Kinda hoping this will be a “Lot” scenario haha
If South Africa is as you say then I think you would have an edge in getting into America. Where I live in Tucson, is a refugee center. There are people from all over that have settled here. Just a thought.

That is my prayer for you and all those you love, that you would be so filled with the glory of The Lord that all darkness around you would be destroyed because of who Jesus is and what Jesus has done. Amen.

We will pray fervently. Many years ago I had a similar dream about Africa and I have never been there. When I saw the pictures of what some were doing there the dream came back to me. I know this may be of little comfort since I am not facing that hate here yet, but the word teaches us to not fear him who can kill the body but to fear him who can take the soul. You are God’s child and have a place in heaven, no matter what happens in this life. My sweet Momma went to be with Jesus on the 29th of October but before she went she very clearly told us what she saw in Heaven and wanted us to know her sweet, precious Jesus is real and what awaits those who love Him is real, wonderful, marvelous, peaceful, all light and no darkness, so hold on to the promises God has for those who love Him.

This scripture came to my mind over and over as I read your post (with horror) I knew there was something going on, I just never knew it to be this way.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face…then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Another secular quote too, ‘the only thing necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing’
It’s so sad this because from what I see on TV, so many call on God’s name in the Country. How can this be going on?
Please be strong saint, I am sure it isn’t by chance you notice all this and feel this grieved about the way things are. And are calling out to God in prayer about it. (God bless your heart)
I like to imagine that God knows you can cause the change He seeks in that nation.
Great revivals from times past started when just one person prayed.
Definitely praying with you that the demons stirring up this wicked acts in the hearts of those men and women for whom Christ died will be frustrated.

Who would have thought, just the day after I read your post my devotional had this message. I was going to share it in a pm but not sure where to find your email address so here goes:
Trust Him to Deliver You

“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.… There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” Psalm 91:7, 10
Naturally speaking, this is a terrifying world we’re living in today. A world that staggers from one disaster to another. Almost daily we hear about wars, about the dangers of nuclear weapons and chemical warfare, about oil spills and earthquakes and floods, about diseases on the rise and crime sweeping through our cities.
But in the midst of it all, God is promising to be a refuge and a fortress to those who will trust and dwell in Him.
“But, Gloria,” you might say, “He made that promise thousands of years ago when things weren’t in as desperate shape as they are today!”
That may be so, but you know what? That promise is right up to date. It was made for our generation. Just think about it. Back when Psalm 91 was written, man hadn’t even invented weapons that could destroy 10,000 people at once. We’re the generation that did that. So when He said, “No evil will befall you,” He was including us.
No evil will befall you. My, what a statement! You need to catch hold of it and believe it today. Believe that God wants to be God in your life. He wants to be your protection. He wants to be your security. He wants to be the first Name you call when trouble comes your way. He wants to be the One you trust in and look to, to keep you safe. And if you’ll do that, He’ll never, never let you down.
He can handle all the dangers that surround you. I don’t care how bad they are, He can handle them! He proved that with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were bound and thrown into a fiery furnace that was so hot that the men who threw them in were killed by the heat. Now you can’t get in any more trouble than that. But God brought them through and when they came out, they didn’t even smell like smoke. Hallelujah!
So, no matter how terrifying things around you seem to get, trust God. He’ll always be faithful. He’ll never be out doing something else when you need help. He’ll be right there to deliver you from any problem, any catastrophe, any kind of devastation.
Let Him prove in your life what He proved in the lives of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego: No other can deliver like He can!
P.S. Your blog is so refreshing! I found the info about feeding dogs bones very very helpful and then your reaction to Maxine’s incident. And oh, the priceless one about your daughter praying first… It just melted me 🙂

Its horrible, the nation mourns. We’ve been preparing ourselves for the last few months but its still a shock now that its happened.
Praying for you and your nation now that your once revered leader has died. I have been praying for you to be encouraged and now will be praying even more that as your nation (and the world morns) that your nation will rise to bring Godly men and women to places of power and restore His name. I know that scripture tells us things must go a certain way yet I still pray for Godly men and women to lead us.
